Echo Pop is just a look wise upgrade from Echo Dot 4th Gen. This design change doesn't provide any advantage like better sound or anything else. The only advantage is that this comes in purple colour. People who would like to show off with this unique colour can go with this. Other than that Echo Dot 4th Gen is better than Echo Pop.

So, I like my speakers to not only play sound but also listen to me.
This speaker has microphone behind the front face, so until you shout or are behind the speaker, it will not listen to you.
This is not an issue with any of the other Echo speakers.

I have bought this recently and using it from last 3-4 months. The sound is really good. Bass is also good. Initially faced some bug of playing 2 songs simultaneously but it seems it has been fixed by amazon. Never faced this issue again from last 2 months.
